Japan-Taiwan Strategic Alliance Platform Inaugural Seminar was Held in Taipei

Corporate Directions, Inc 3 July 2018

On Tuesday, June 12th, 2018, Corporate Directions, Inc. (CDI) held inaugural seminar with Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER) in Taipei City, commemorated the establishment of “Japan-Taiwan Strategic Alliance Platform”.

The potential of cooperation between Japanese and Taiwanese companies has been widely discussed in recent years, but we believe that there are still few examples of successful cases.

In order to accelerate the successful business alliance between Japan and Taiwan, CDI, who has an experience of over 30 years in management consulting for Japanese companies; and TIER, who has over 40 years of experience as Taiwan’s first private independent think tank with a wide network to Taiwanese government and enterprises, have launched the platform.

Around 40 attendees from government and listed companies in Taiwan enjoyed the keynote lectures; and joined the discussions on various topics as situation of ICT healthcare industry in Japan and ways of realizing successful cooperation, which were presented by CDI’s partner and principals, Okumura, Ogawa, Yonekura and Koreeda.

Through close collaboration, CDI and TIER will continue work to support alliance of Japanese and Taiwanese companies to expand their businesses in Asia.
